Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise operations in a fast-paced store environment. You will help create a welcoming shopping experience by sorting, stocking, and keeping shelves prepared for guests.

You will use scanners and basic equipment, assist with guest services such as order pickup and drive‑up, and ensure product availability across GM categories. Training will cover safety, compliance, and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on handheld scanners and other equipment.
• Work both independently and with a team to help guests.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and accurately.
• Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process.
• Remain focused and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with laws.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive up.
• Greet guests and assist with daily tasks and needs.
