Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise operations on the sales floor in Virginia. You will help guests, stock and organize merchandise, and ensure accurate pricing and presentation to deliver a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with finding products, and processing transactions with a courteous, proactive approach while maintaining safety and compliance. Training is provided for the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor
• Maintain product availability on GM categories
• Operate powered equipment if certified and unload freight when needed
• Follow safety policies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
