Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience operating forklift or other material handling equipment (preferred)
• Prior warehousing, freight, or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate equipment and follow all safety rules and regulations
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift or electric pallet jack
• Pick, stage, and secure freight inside trailers for safe transport
• Use document management systems to track freight locations within the terminal
• Communicate with terminal personnel and drivers
• Maintain a flexible schedule including day, night, weekends, and holidays
• Operate with a customer-service mindset
