What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a patient advocate to resolve questions or concerns
- Collect and input patient information into the e-Intake system accurately
- Verify products and services while maintaining compliance with regulations
- Provide basic technical customer service assistance for CPAP equipment
- Educate patients and employees on CPAP supplies and usage
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environment
- Strong customer service background with effective communication skills
- Basic computer and internet skills, with proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the medical field and administrative record management
- Knowledge of billing reimbursement and insurance policies
- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
- Understanding of medical terminology and medical billing practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask effectively
