Spectrum Business is hiring within Syracuse, NY, to engage business customers through inbound and outbound calls, presenting Spectrum Voice, Data and Video solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

You’ll respond quickly, build rapport, and close sales while maintaining accurate records in Spectrum databases. With a base pay of $18/hour plus incentives, you can reach an annual earnings target that reflects your performance, including commissions.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in a professional, customer-facing or service environment.
• 2+ years of college education, associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in sales, customer service, call center, retail, hospitality or other fast-paced settings.
• 2+ years sales experience with Voice, Data and Video solutions for SMBs.
• 2+ years of call center sales experience in B2B or telecommunications.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Respond efficiently to inbound sales calls and assist customers according to call handling standards

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Sales experience in a professional, customer-facing or service environment or experience in sales, customer service, call center, retail, hospitality or other fast-paced settings
• or 2+ years of college education, associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills

• Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport, identify needs and recommend solutions
• Skilled at multitasking and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Sales aptitude or demonstrated ability to influence and upsell
• Basic knowledge of communications, technology, video, data and voice products

Preferred Qualifications

Education

• Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Communications or related field

Experience

• 2+ years sales experience with Voice, Data and Video solutions for small or mid-sized businesses
• 2+ years of call center sales experience in business-to-business or telecommunications

Skills

• Ability to discuss Spectrum’s products and competitors’ offerings in detail

A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.

The base pay for this position generally is between $18.00 and $22.30. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $23,400.
