Job summary

UMB Bank is hiring for a Consumer Services Specialist to deliver exceptional customer experience and build relationships with customers via inbound calls. You will handle a variety of bank-related questions, provide information, and cross-sell appropriate products.

Role involves training, ongoing skill development, and performance-based incentives. Must be able to work various shifts during Service Center hours. Compensation includes standard benefits and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in English.
• 1–2 years of customer service or similar experience.
• Knowledge of basic banking products (checking, debit, credit).
• Able to manage multiple computer systems to access client information.
• Basic understanding of privacy regulations and customer authentication.
• Ability to learn and pass assessments/training certificates.
• Strong phone and customer interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers over the phone to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Access multiple systems to provide information and cross-sell products.
• Participate in classroom training and online learning.
• Maintain performance metrics including call quality, talk time, and cross-sell success.
