Columbus State Community College (CSCC) invites applications and nominations for the inaugural position of Dean of Mathematics, Natural & Social Sciences (MNSS). CSCC seeks a dynamic, student-first academic leader committed to student success, access, and academic excellence in an evolving higher education landscape.

The Dean will provide visible, strategic, and transformational leadership to shape an innovative future for the division, overseeing 139 faculty positions and 455 adjunct positions

Qualifications

• Minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Five years of progressive leadership experience in higher education.
• PhD and higher education leadership experience preferred.
• Experience leading STEM-based departments and teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, strategic, and transformational leadership to shape the division’s future.
• Oversee 139 faculty positions and 455 adjunct positions serving a diverse student body.
• Strengthen resources and operational excellence across the MNSS division.
• Align curriculum, assessment, transfer pathways, and workforce needs with college goals.
