Job summary

Columbus State Community College invites applications for the inaugural Dean of Health & Human Services. The Dean will lead a large division with 63 faculty and 522 adjuncts, guiding student-focused strategy, access, and excellence.

The role reports to senior academic leadership and partners across the college. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree and have at least five years of progressive leadership in higher education; a Doctoral degree and HHS department leadership are preferred,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• At least five years of progressive leadership experience in higher education.
• A doctoral degree and leadership of a Health & Human Services-based department are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, strategic, and transformational leadership for Health & Human Services division.
• Oversee 63 faculty positions and 522 adjunct positions.
• Lead the division through a period of transition, including the OhioHealth Hall opening in 2027.
• Shape the division’s strategic direction in alignment with CSCC’s mission and pillars.
