Job summary

Columbus State Community College seeks a dynamic academic leader to advance student success, access, and excellence in a changing higher education landscape. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Dean will guide the division’s strategic direction, overseeing 63 faculty and 522 adjunct positions across a diverse student body.

Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited institution and at least five years of progressive leadership experience are required.
A doctoral degree, experience in higher education leadership, or leadership of a Health & Human Services‑based department are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide visible, strategic, and transformational leadership to shape the division’s future.
Oversee 63 faculty positions and 522 adjunct positions serving a diverse student body.
Guide the division through a significant transition including the OhioHealth Hall opening in 2027.
Champion student success and career pathways, build a partnership-first culture, and grow the program portfolio.
Strengthen resources and operational excellence across the division.
