Job summary

Columbus State Community College invites applications for the inaugural Dean of Mathematics, Natural & Social Sciences (MNSS). The Dean will lead student success, access, and academic excellence across a division serving thousands of students each term.

Reporting to Academic Affairs, the Dean will provide strategic, transformational leadership for 139 faculty and 455 adjuncts, and align curricula with workforce needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• PhD and higher education leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, transformational leadership for the MNSS division.
• Oversee 139 faculty and 455 adjuncts and guide resource development.
• Align curriculum, assessments, transfer pathways, and workforce needs with the division’s strategic plan.
