Job summary

Manifold Bio is seeking an organized In-Vivo Research Technician to join our pharmacology team on a one-year contract in Boston. You will work alongside experienced researchers to prepare for and execute mouse studies supporting internal drug discovery programs.

Training will be provided, with emphasis on dosing, blood collection, necropsy, tissue processing, and data recording. The role is on-site in the Fenway area, 40 hours per week, with compensation of $30-$35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with animal handling in a vivarium environment.
• Willingness to learn dosing routes and specimen collection.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written protocols and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and label tubes, cages and collection supplies.
• Set up procedure rooms for dosing days and takedowns.
• Dosing, blood collection, necropsy and tissue processing can be taught.
• Process collected samples, primarily serum, and record data.
• Assist with tissue weighing and lysis for downstream analyses as needed.
