• BS with 10+ years in a related field (Physiology, Biomedical Sciences, Veterinary Science) or MS with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on expertise in rodent cardiac and vascular surgical models (TAC, MI, RKM).
• Proficiency in rodent dosing techniques (IV, SC, IM) and telemetry implantation.
• Experience with invasive hemodynamic measurement techniques, including PV-loop analysis.
• Langendorff perfusion and cardiac tissue dissociation experience.
• Proficiency with data analysis software such as PRISM and PONEMAH.
• Strong understanding of rodent anatomy, physiology, and survival surgery best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple longitudinal studies.

Responsabilidades

• Perform surgical models of cardiac and vascular disease in mice and rats (TAC, MI, RKM).
• Administer test articles via IV, SC, IM or osmotic minipump with precision.
• Implant and manage telemetry devices for continuous BP and ECG monitoring.
• Conduct invasive hemodynamic assessments using PV-loop methods.
• Ex‑vivo tissue collection and Langendorff perfusion of hearts.
• Manage end‑to‑end in‑vivo study logistics and post‑operative care.
• Analyze data with PRISM, PONEMAH, and other software; prepare reports.
• Maintain records of procedures and study protocols per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with directors and cross‑functional teams to align study goals.
• Flag capacity/scheduling issues to stakeholders.
