Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking an In Vitro Scientist to set up and conduct cell-based assays in accordance with SOPs and protocols. You will carry out tasks with minimal supervision, maintain cell lines, and help develop novel testing protocols under aseptic conditions.

The role emphasizes meticulous record-keeping, report writing, and overseeing day-to-day lab operations while training junior staff. Full-time, on-site in South Brunswick, NJ with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or equivalent experience in laboratory animal medicine, toxicology, animal science, or biology is preferred.
• Must have 2 years of industry experience with cell culture.
• Prefer someone with hands-on experience in a GLP setting.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and conduct in vitro experiments in accordance with protocols and SOPs.
• Carry out procedures with minimal supervision and under aseptic conditions as appropriate.
• Assist in development and execution of novel testing protocols and overall assay development.
• Maintain cell lines and prepare test solutions.
• Meticulously maintain records per good laboratory practices and assist in writing reports.
• Oversee all laboratory assays and day-to-day procedures and train In Vitro Scientists.
