Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in New Jersey seeks an In Vitro Scientist to set up and conduct experiments per protocols, maintain cell lines, and assist in assay development. The role requires a B.S. in a relevant field and 2 years of cell culture experience, preferably with GLP exposure.

Full-time, 9:00am-5:00pm, on-site in South Brunswick with comprehensive benefits. Salary ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or equivalent experience in laboratory animal medicine, toxicology, animal science, or biology is preferred.
• Must have 2 years of industry experience with cell culture.
• Prefer someone with hands-on experience in a GLP setting.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and conduct in vitro experiments per protocols and SOPs.
• Carry out procedures with minimal supervision.
• Perform aseptic procedures as appropriate.
• Assist in developing and executing novel testing protocols and assays.
• Maintain cell lines and prepare test solutions.
• Record results meticulously per GLP.
• Assist in writing reports and follow PSL safety requirements.
• Oversee lab assays and day-to-day procedures and schedule.

Job Description

• Set-up and conduct in vitro experiments in accordance with protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Efficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision.
• As appropriate, perform procedures under aseptic conditions.
• Actively assist in development and execution of novel testing protocols and overall assay development.
• Maintain cell lines.
• Prepare test solutions in accordance with directions.
• Meticulously maintain precise records in accordance with good laboratory practices.
• Assist in writing of reports.
• Follow all PSL safety requirements.
• Oversees all laboratory assays and day to day procedures.
• Creates and maintains lab assay schedule.
• Leads training of In Vitro Scientists.
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of South Brunswick Township, NJ are encouraged to apply. The pay range of this position is $25/h - $35/h depending on related experience and qualification.
