Battelle is seeking an early-career scientist to advance research and development using New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), including complex in vitro models such as organoids and organ-on-chip systems.

You will contribute to study design, execution, and analysis while collaborating with biologists, engineers, and computational scientists to generate high-quality data for chemical safety assessment and biomedical research.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences or related field.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture techniques and aseptic technique.
• Interest or experience with 3D culture, organoids, co-culture systems, or microphysiological systems.
• Ability to execute research studies involving cell-based models and in-vitro assays.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a matrixed, team-oriented environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform cell-based experiments including mammalian cell culture, maintenance, passaging, seeding, treatment, and endpoint analysis.
• Support MPS studies: preparation, operation, sampling, troubleshooting of organ-on-chip/ organoid platforms.
• Work independently and in teams to solve technical problems with attention to detail.
• Review raw data, lab records, and study reports for accuracy.
• Maintain meticulous records and clear documentation of procedures.
