Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of music programming at satellite or college radio.
• Desire to grow into a Program Director role.
• Experience with automation and/or AI is a plus.
• Strong interest in music and pop culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Public speaking and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal skills to work with staff at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative writing ability.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Receives daily assignments from Manager, Music Programming Operations and Program Directors.
• Learns the music scheduling software and automation system.
• Edits audio, applies fades, and inserts digital markers for appeal.
• Loads audio elements into the automation system and logs royalty data.
• Pulls listener requests from electronic webmail.
• Ensures hosts receive daily music logs and updated talent schedules.
• Monitors programming quality and prepares On Demand content.
• Acts as In Studio Producer to maintain live broadcast audio levels.
• May assist with writing station imaging, promos and selecting music.
• May write/record/schedule Artist IDs and Interviews.
• Assists with music project research and data interpretation.
• Participate in music meetings and monitor format charts.
• Liaises with music artists during visits and coordinates with labels.
