Macy’s is seeking a Personal Stylist to deliver elevated, lifestyle-focused shopping experiences both in-store and virtually. Build client relationships, drive new customer acquisition, and host events with vendors and community partners to boost sales and brand presence.

The role emphasizes clienteling, social media engagement, and collaboration with store leadership while maintaining high standards of service, fashion sense, and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail experience or other high-touch selling position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Keen sense of fashion and trend awareness.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sale goals with a personalized and elevated shopping experience in-store and online.
• Drive customer acquisition through networking, leverage social media to seek online and in-store traffic, and create and execute a compelling online presence.
• Partner with store team, vendors and community partners to develop and host virtual and in-store events to deliver incremental sales.
• Leverage selling tools and resources to increase annual spend and repeat client visit rates through ongoing outreach and correspondence; invite customers to virtual and/or in-person appointments; promote goods, looks, and products relevant to customers.
• Make data driven decisions that will drive growth and understand your local market and customer base.
• Meet with the Store Manager regularly to inform them of your performance, goals and actions.
• Complete daily and weekly tasks including checking emails, appointment booking upkeep, customer follow-up, content development and posts, and other duties as assigned.
• Attend Vendor trainings and development workshops as assigned.
• Share your knowledge and support peers in growing their skillset while continuously developing yours.
• Regularly participate in store leadership meetings and visits.
• Maintain a clean, safe and inviting environment in alignment with company standards and guidelines.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities
