Job summary

Intuit is hiring year-round TurboTax Retail Experts to serve customers in TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide in-person tax preparation, tax advice, and software support, while growing your local client base and building lasting relationships in the community.

This on-site role requires strong tax knowledge, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to work 20 hours per week, including weekends, in a front-facing retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related state licenses/certificates.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, 20 hours per week minimum.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax locally.
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert to long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing efforts with TurboTax support.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan ahead.
• Use government sources and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and build lasting client relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools.
