Job summary

Intuit seeks enthusiastic TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support to in-person customers while building your local client base and fostering long-term relationships in the community.

You will collaborate with a team of financial professionals, use tax software, and participate in local marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
• PTIN required to file taxes
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, Sunday–Saturday, ~20 hrs/week
• Interest in building local/online presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating tax content
• biling/Spanish skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Willing to wear TurboTax uniform
• Willing to work in front-facing retail environment

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers
• Handle simple to complex tax situations including personal and business income, deductions, and amendments
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan for future taxes
• Deliver accurate tax solutions in language clients understand
• Engage with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools
• Grow local client base and foster long-term relationships
