Responsibilities

As an In-Store Shopping Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market, your responsibilities include:

1. Shopping and fulfilling customer’s online orders in-store using a mobile device with the Instacart Shopper App.
2. Providing excellent customer service by focusing on product quality, freshness, and substituting out-of-stock items when necessary.
3. Communicating effectively about any order changes.
4. Processing transactions with the in-store POS system.
5. Acting as an online ambassador, answering questions about order delivery, the Instacart platform, and its benefits.
6. Supporting store operations by stocking shelves, filling frozen food bins, and maintaining store cleanliness and presentation.

Qualifications

Requirements to be an In-Store Shopping Clerk include:

• Minimum age of 21 and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication skills, ability to follow directions, and work well in a team. Ability to operate front-end equipment like registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
• Ability to maneuver a utility cart weighing up to 20 lbs., requiring a force of up to 35 lbs., for up to 2 hours over a distance of 20 feet.
• Capability to walk up to 3 miles during an 8-hour shift.
• Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned.
