Job summary

Wegmans in Princeton, NJ is seeking an in-store shopper to fulfill customer orders via the Wegmans app, packaging items and preparing them for curbside pickup or in-store pickup.

The role emphasizes fast-paced service, accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean workspace, with opportunities to assist at the register and provide friendly help to customers.

Applicants should have prior customer service experience and be 18 years or older; the position is part-time with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in food service, grocery or retail preferred.
• Ability to operate a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to communicate with and fulfill customer orders
• Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in fulfillment area
• Properly handle all product, including properly bagging items to reach the customer
• Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workspace
