Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is hiring for an In-Store Sales position in Sparks, NV. This first‑shift role focuses on customer service, counter sales, and supporting the Outside Sales team while handling warehouse duties such as moving cylinders.

You will also promote add-ons and maintain accurate customer records and pricing. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year in customer service or inside sales, with strong communication and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter telephone orders, answer questions, resolve challenges, and trace order status or shipments.
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store.
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store sales representative.
• Maintain customer records and pricing accuracy.
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small customers.
• Sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations.
