Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a customer-focused professional to support phone orders, inquiries, and shipments while promoting gases and related products. You will assist the Outside Sales team, maintain customer records, and handle warehouse duties such as moving cylinders.

A strong service mindset and basic computer skills are required. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service or sales roles, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and clear communication.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle equipment setup.
• Familiar with basic computer and printer usage.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support by taking phone orders and inquiries.
• Promote additional sales of hard goods and gases to meet margins.
• Conduct product demonstrations using customer insights.
• Support Outside Sales team with sales activities.
• Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and account setup.
• Perform warehouse duties and move cylinders as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What makes you great

• Youhave a high school diploma / GED
• More than one (1+) year(s) of Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales is preferred
• You should have excellent customer service skills to be successful in thisrole
• You do not have a DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictionswithin the last ten (10) years
• Knowledgeable with Computers / Printers for new employees and when installing new equipment in locations
• You are able to lift 50lbs
