Job summary

Linde plc in Texas is seeking a customer-focused inside sales and counter sales associate to support retail customers, process telephone orders, answer questions, and assist the Outside Sales team. You will also help with warehouse tasks and product demonstrations while maintaining accurate customer records.

Responsibilities include promoting add-on gases, guiding product choices, performing outbound calls, and helping achieve target margins. Training and competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills essential for success.
• No DUI/DWI or alcohol-related driving convictions in the last 10 years.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service activities including receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving issues, and tracing order status or shipments.
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store.
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as in-store sales rep.
• Maintain customer records and pricing; ensure accurate account setup.
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers; sell at minimum discount to hit margins; support additional locations as needed.

• You Will sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations

Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
