Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment is seeking an In-Store Sales Associate in Show Low, AZ. You will handle counter sales, process telephone orders, and assist with customer inquiries to ensure a smooth buying experience.

You will promote gases and hard goods, provide product demonstrations, and support the Outside Sales team. A CDL A and Hazmat endorsement may be pursued within 12 months, with at least one year in customer service or sales preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in customer service or inside/counter sales preferred.
• No DUI/DWI or alcohol-related driving convictions in last 10 years.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with counter sales and telephone orders.
• Enter orders, answer questions, resolve issues, and track shipments.
• Maintain customer records and pricing accuracy.
• Support Outside Sales team with sales activities as needed.
• Promote add-on gases and hard goods, and demonstrate products.
• Contribute to warehouse tasks such as moving cylinders.

In-Store Sales Associate

Show Low, AZ, United States | req33410 Work Schedule: 1st Shift, CDL A

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will perform customer service activities, including receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges, and tracing order status or product shipments
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
• And you will provide sales support to the Outside Sales team
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs
• You will promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store sales representative
• Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers
• You will sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations

What Makes You Great

• You have a high school diploma / GED
• You must be willing to obtain a Class A CDL and Hazmat endorsement within 12 months of employment
• More than one (1+) year(s) of Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales is preferred
• You should have excellent customer service skills to be successful in this role
• Further, you do not have a DUI / DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• Able to lift 50lbs
