Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Sparks, NV is seeking an in-store sales representative and customer service specialist. You will receive telephone orders, assist counter sales, perform warehouse duties, support the Outside Sales team, and promote gases and hard goods to drive add-on revenue.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter telephone orders, answer questions, and trace order status or shipments.
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store.
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations.
• Maintain customer records and pricing accuracy.
• Make outbound calls to retail and small customers.
• Aim to achieve target margins and support additional locations as needed.

What you will enjoy doing*

• Youwill perform customer service activities, including receiving and enteringtelephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges, and tracingorder status or product shipments
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
• And you will provide sales support to the Outside Sales team
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs
• You will promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goodsaccessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store salesrepresentative
• Further, you will maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup andpricing
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers
• You will sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins andoccasionally support additional locations

What makes you great

• More than one (1+) year(s) of Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales is preferred
• You should have excellent customer service skills to be successful in thisrole
