Job summary

Imperial Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to support supermarket partners with well-stocked inline categories, seasonal displays, and promotional sections.

You will generate sales orders, stock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and address basic store-level issues while building strong in-store relationships. Ideal candidates are reliable, communicate well, and thrive in a fast-paced, physical work environment with daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, or merchandising preferred.
• Basic computer skills – able to log in and follow simple instructions.
• Knowledge of merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and work with money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Your Own/Reliable Transportation

Responsibilities

• Make regularly scheduled store visits
• Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained
• Place/Maintain displays (set up promotional and sales displays, introduction and cut-in of new items)
• Build relationship with store managers and employees
• Maintain shelf conditions by keeping sections blocked and free of debris
• Tag/price compliance
• Reorder products that you service
• Maintain inventory levels for inline sections, power panels, clip strips, and cross merchandise
• Prepare and complete weekly service reports for timely submission via tablet
• Manage back stock ensuring product is worked to shelf
• Ensure planogram compliance at shelf
• Other duties as assigned
