Job summary

Imperial (IDI) is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to support supermarket partners by keeping inline categories well stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will manage displays, stock shelves, and build strong in-store relationships while addressing basic store-level issues across assigned locations.

The role emphasizes visiting stores regularly, maintaining planograms, and reporting weekly service activities via tablet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising preferred.
• Basic computer skills to login and follow simple instructions.
• Knowledge of merchandising general merchandise or health/beauty care products is a plus.
• Ability to read and write short notes and memos.

Responsibilities

• Make regularly scheduled store visits.
• Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained.
• Place/Maintain displays (promotions, new item introductions, cut-ins).
• Build relationships with store managers and employees.
• Maintain shelf conditions, keep sections clean and debris-free.
• Tag/price compliance.
• Reorder products you service.
• Maintain inventory levels for inline sections and cross-merchandise.
• Prepare and complete weekly service reports for tablet submission.
• Manage back stock and ensure product is moved to shelf.
• Ensure planogram compliance at shelf.
• Other duties as assigned.
