Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) seeks an Event Manager for product demonstrations. You will recruit, train and supervise part-time staff; oversee product prep, presentation, food safety and service; and coordinate with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators to support grand openings.

You’ll maintain a set Tue-Sat schedule, participate in new location openings, and help deliver high-quality customer experiences for Costco members.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required, Bachelor’s preferred.
• 3–5 years in client-side, branded consumer goods or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience hiring, training and supervising part-time staff.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and related guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct events, promotions and sales of vendor products.
• Communicate strategies to achieve sales and service goals.
• Develop governance policies and procedures with leadership.
• Evaluate event performance metrics with District Manager.
• Manage revenue objectives and cost controls; drive customer satisfaction.
