Job summary

Michaels in NYC Brooklyn Heights is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will lead a team, deliver MOD coverage, manage pricing changes, ship-from-store, RTVs, and ASN processes, while upholding store conditions and customer focus. The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership and willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience executing SOPs and company programs.
• Strong merchandising and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution and on-time merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual standards.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain service standards.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and shrink reduction.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner with store leadership to align staffing with business needs.
