Michaels in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an energetic Events Coordinator to plan and run childrens parties and in-store events. You will engage customers, assist with product discovery, and help enroll guests in rewards programs while maintaining a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, delivering craft demonstrations, and executing add-ons like balloons. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and retail experience.

• Plan and coordinate multiple events (childrens birthday parties, crafts/classes) within the Michaels store.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Instruct and demonstrate crafts, perform face painting and related activities.
• Arrange party add-ons (goody bags, balloons) per company standards.
• Communicate events to clients and store team members; handle emails/phone calls.
• Assist customers with shopping and enroll in Rewards program/Private Label Credit Card.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and stock/POG duties.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and SOP compliance.
• Participate in daily store upkeep and restocking activities.
