Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a Sales Specialist to guide customers through product decisions and turn ideas into home improvement results. You’ll help customers find products, explain features, and close sales while delivering exceptional service in a busy store environment.

You'll become the product expert, assisting with inquiries, promotions, financing options, and service plans. This role spans several departments and emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or equivalent external sales experience).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods; lift at least 25 lbs.
• Sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (will be supported).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Act as department contact for customers and vendors; provide estimates, schedule installer visits, process orders, and follow up on project completion.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors and stores to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist across department pages.
• Train department associates and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
