Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Freight Flow Lead who, under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, serves as the in-store expert for their department. The Lead focuses on delivering the best service to customers while coaching teammates, upholding brand standards, and directing daily tasks to align with store goals.

This role requires flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays), prior retail or customer-facing experience, and physical ability to lift up to 70

Qualifications

• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail sales or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 70 lbs. intermittently.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform active store duties.
• Experience with store operations and training teammates is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to support the store vision and goals.
• Coach teammates and onboard new hires; conduct cross-training.
• Uphold brand standards, merchandising, and floor sets.
• Assist with opening/closing, POS and firearm sales compliance where applicable.
• Foster an inclusive, safe, customer-friendly store environment.
