Job summary

Product Connections, a unit of Acosta Group, seeks an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations and to engage with shoppers professionally. You will manage event equipment, maintain knowledge of products, and help drive sales in-store.

The role is part-time (up to 25 hours/week) with limited travel, requiring a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and food safety certifications where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient ability to use a personal computer and mobile device with applications and internal systems.
• Food Safety Professional Certification; Local Food handlers permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies to keep them clean and secured in the backroom area.
• Communicate with store management about upcoming events when Supervisors are absent.
• Be the point person for all events in the store and assist others with event kits, materials and tools.
• Lead and share knowledge with the team when Supervisors are away.
• Gain adequate knowledge of products represented and proactively engage, interact, and sell to consumers.
• Prepare and serve food samples following safety guidelines, using appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
