Job summary

Product Connections, part of Acosta Group, invites applications for an Associate who conducts in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You will learn products, engage customers, and drive sales while managing event equipment and maintaining a professional appearance in store environments.

This part-time role (up to 25 hours/week) offers exposure to a retail marketing team, opportunities to interact with store personnel, and hands-on experience with event setup and client reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience.
• Proficiency with food safety guidelines and handling.
• Ability to work in a retail environment and follow instruction.

Responsibilities

• Management and maintenance of the equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the backroom area.
• When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming events and execution of past events.
• Be the point person for all events in the store and assist other Event Specialists with kits and tools.
• Assist Supervisor by providing leadership and knowledge to the team.
• Gain adequate product knowledge for the represented products.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers.
• Assist or perform all job responsibilities assigned to the demo program.
• Communicate product features and benefits effectively.
• Prepare and serve food samples in compliance with food safety guidelines.
• Prepare and serve samples using appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives).
• Maintain a clean, sterile workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Complete all assigned work.
• Assist with client visit preparation and audit corrections.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Prepare and submit online requirements the day of Event execution.
• Take digital photos of Perfect Table Setup to document success stories.
