Job summary

Product Connections, part of Acosta Group, seeks an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations in Hendersonville. You will learn products, engage customers, and maintain professional appearance in a retail setting.

The role is not to exceed 25 hours per week and requires a high school diploma or GED with related experience preferred. Local food handlers permit may be required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Stand and walk; lift up to 25 pounds; use hands and fingers; reach; communicate.
• Work Environment: Retail store environment; limited travel.
• Language Skills: English; bilingual may be required based on business necessity.

Responsibilities

• Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
• Communicate product features and benefits clearly.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Complete expense reports per Company Policy.
• Submit online requirements on the same day as events.
• Access internet and internal systems including Microsoft Outlook and PDFs.
