Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking a part-time Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, maintain product knowledge, and engage consumers professionally. The role involves preparing and serving samples, interacting with customers, and supporting event execution in a retail setting.

The position is part-time, up to 25 hours per week, with core duties including setup, client liaison, and maintaining a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge of products represented.
• Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Communicate features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Access the internet and company systems, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDFs.
