Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a deli team member to handle and knowledgeably manage all deli products. You will receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and stock items while maintaining clean, orderly displays and adhering to food safety standards.

You will help customers with questions, make recommendations, and support a fast-paced store environment. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• Must provide quality customer service and adhere to safety regulations.
• Must follow food safety and sanitation practices.
• Must be able to work in a team and follow policies and procedures.
• Must complete Lockout/Tagout and related training as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to GIANT/MARTIN'S customers.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions and rotate products.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations in the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor and prep areas and use PPE when required.
