Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a deli team member to handle and knowledgeably manage deli products. You will receive, wrap, weigh, label, and stock deli items while maintaining clean displays and following safety and quality guidelines.

You will interact with customers, answer questions, make product recommendations, and ensure a friendly, efficient shopping experience. Training and PPE are provided, with opportunities to grow within the store network.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must communicate effectively and follow safety policies
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements
• Must be able to use and learn equipment and tools used in deli operations

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to GIANT/MARTIN'S customers and team members.
• Receive, process, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked shelves and displays; rotate products.
• Maintain proper cooler and prep area conditions and sanitation.
• Follow all federal, state, and local deli regulations.
• Provide friendly service and upsell products through suggestions.
• Adhere to company dress code and PPE requirements.
• Complete training courses added to the learning page.
