Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as an essential component of every position within GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product (often under 30 lbs).
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, rotation, organization of cases (frequently >20 lbs, up to 50 lbs), and cleaning.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
• Provide exceptionally friendly and courteous customer service; answer questions and promote products.
