Community Choice Financial Family of Brands in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to help customers access short-term financial solutions. You will process transactions, build relationships, and provide exceptional in-store experiences while receiving thorough training and advancement opportunities.

You will participate in a comprehensive benefits package and a full-time, in-person schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
• Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting customer relationships to drive repeat business.
• Review, validate, and process customer transactions with accuracy.
• Offer personalized financial services to fit customers’ lifestyle.
• Enter and maintain customer information in the POS system.
• Attend daily call campaigns to generate new business.
• Assist in customer account management and collections.
• Participate in on-site store activities and events.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
• Uphold security procedures and cash handling practices.
• Stay compliant with company policies and laws.
• Engage in ongoing training and stay updated.
• Work full-time with in-person attendance, including weekends.
