Job summary

Optimum in Rocky Mount, NC seeks enthusiastic Retail Sales Consultants to join one of the company’s largest sales channels. You will engage customers, promote our connectivity solutions, and work toward sales targets while delivering an outstanding in-store experience.

As a brand ambassador, you’ll stay up-to-date on products, help customers with billing and service questions, and collaborate with teammates to ensure a positive, high-energy store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of retail selling experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 35 miles for some locations.
• Standing for long periods and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Full-time availability including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and guide them to products and services.
• Educate customers on telecom options and upsell where appropriate.
• Assist with billing questions, payments, and device issues.
• Represent the Optimum brand and nurture a positive store image.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
