Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty and Wellness Consultant to maximize sales and provide exceptional customer care in a fast-paced store environment. You will assist customers with product selection, offer skincare consultations, and participate in in-store events to promote brand awareness and loyalty.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, comfort with beauty product knowledge, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of experience in retail or beauty sales.
• Experience working with goals and independent work to reach objectives.
• Knowledge of products and brands to engage customers.
• Experience building and maintaining team relationships.
• Basic level PC/tablet skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Perform product demonstrations and consultations using tools like the Skin Hydrometer and tablet.
• Lead in-store events to promote brand awareness and loyalty of Owned Brands and total Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care.
• Maintain department standards, hygiene, and stock; ensure testers are stocked and organized.
• Process sales at the register and support associates; participate in meetings on programs and promotions.
• Collaborate with store leadership to review goals and maintain product knowledge.
