Job summary

ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate for Wilmington, NC 28411 to visit a designated selection of stores each week, scanning barcodes on displays and aisles. The role is on-site with flexible hours and average weekly hours of 2–4.5, plus occasional extra projects, and includes paid travel at your hourly rate.

You will work with major retailers like Walmart and Kroger across grocery, drug, and mass merchandisers, using a mobile app to capture data.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods and to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be tech savvy and have reliable Wi‑Fi.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes throughout the store.
• Report data and ensure timely completion of scanning and display tasks.
• Work independently with flexible hours and travel as needed.
• Support multiple retailer types including grocery, drug, and mass retailers.
