Job summary

Educational Data Systems, Inc. (EDSI) is seeking an In-School Youth Career Advisor to support Gulf Coast region youth with outreach, enrollment, case management, career coaching, and transition planning.

You’ll work closely with high schools, families, and community partners to engage students and help them progress toward their education and career goals. The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), strong communication and coaching skills, the ability to manage a caseload, and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience working with youth or jobseekers preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, organizational and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with high schools, colleges, staff, partners, students and families.
• Conduct outreach and recruitment to identify eligible youth.
• Manage a caseload and track progress toward goals.
• Provide career coaching and help develop individualized career plans.
• Coordinate work-based learning opportunities and resume/workplace readiness support.
