The role requires an Associate degree or 48 college credits, plus CPR/First Aid certification and experience with urban or disadvantaged youth. Collaboration with school teams and strong documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree or two years of college (minimum 48 credits) or equivalent.
• Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Test is required.
• Two years of experience with urban and/or disadvantaged youth.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate instructional activities with classroom teachers for students in in-school suspension.
• Monitor students' regular academic work while in in-school suspension.
• Collaborate with S-Teams and school staff to support behavior modification and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of student data and progress.
• Communicate with parents regarding conduct and behavior plans.
• Provide tutorial assistance and oversee special assignments related to infractions.
