Responsibilities

• Administers classroom activities and supports teachers in the classroom to reinforce learning.
• Attends meetings and in-service presentations to share information related to job functions.
• Communicates with teachers, students, and parents to evaluate progress and objectives.
• Evaluates student progress and behavior to facilitate referrals for resolution.
• Maintains instructional materials, files, and records to ensure availability and compliance.
• Implements behavioral plans under supervision to reinforce learning concepts.
• Monitors students during periods across school environments to ensure safety.
• Performs clerical tasks and attendance logs to support staff and mandated requirements.
• Provides adapted activities and materials to reinforce classroom objectives.
• Provides observations to inform teachers and administrators about progress.
• Responds to inquiries and directs to appropriate sources as needed.
• Tutors students on assigned work to support completion of tasks.
• Follows district policies and demonstrates professional responsibility.
• Other duties as assigned.
