Job summary

Midwest City - Del City School District is seeking an In School Restriction (ISR) teacher for Cleveland Bailey Elementary in Midwest City, Oklahoma. This is a non-certified, hourly position with an immediate starting date, on an as-needed basis.

Starting salary is $12.50 per hour, with duties including student protection, discipline enforcement, and collaboration with cafeteria staff and teachers to support ISR assignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Demonstrates aptitude for job to be performed.

Responsibilities

• Takes necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment and facilities.
• Accepts the responsibility and arrives punctually for activities and duties as assigned.
• Maintains appropriate emotional control, physical health and personal appearance.
• Demonstrates fiscal responsibility as relates to school equipment and supplies.
• Communicates with cafeteria daily on how many lunches to prepare.
• Communicates with teachers regarding assignments for students placed in ISR.
• Checks for completion of assigned work before the students are allowed to return to the regular classroom. Returns completed assignments to the teachers.
• Maintains a quiet environment conducive to learning.
• Strictly enforces the discipline procedures of the ISR classroom in order to achieve behavior modification.
• Performs such other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
