Job summary

Cleveland Bailey Elementary in Midwest City, Oklahoma, is seeking a 2026-27 In School Restriction Teacher to support ISR programs on an as-needed basis. This non-certified, hourly position starts immediately, with pay of $12.50 per hour and opportunities to assist with student activities.

The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to maintain classroom discipline and protect students, equipment, and facilities, while coordinating with teachers and cafeteria staff on lunches.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Takes necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment and facilities.
• Accepts the responsibility and arrives punctually for activities and duties as assigned.
• Maintains appropriate emotional control, physical health and personal appearance.
• Demonstrates fiscal responsibility as relates to school equipment and supplies.
• Communicates with cafeteria daily on how many lunches to prepare.
• Communicates with teachers regarding assignments for students placed in ISR.
• Checks for completion of assigned work before the students are allowed to return to the regular classroom. Returns completed assignments to the teachers.
• Maintains a quiet environment conducive to learning.
• Strictly enforces the discipline procedures of the ISR classroom in order to achieve behavior modification.
• Performs such other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
