Overview

Informational posting: Become a tutor with Minnesota Reading and Math Corps. Tutors support preschoolers and K-3 students to improve reading and math; training and ongoing support provided. No experience required. Evidence-based programs have helped more than 400,000 students nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a school setting (full-time and part-time options available)
• Provide individualized support to help students build skills and confidence
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students needing extra practice
• Track student progress and meet with the on-site coach and coaching specialists

Qualifications

• Passion and desire to make a difference
• No prior experience required; training provided
• Able to work in a school setting as a caring, supportive adult
